| 1st Day of work was as usual, boring as. Sat there the whole day looking at files. I did like in-total 30 mins of work. But i was impressed by the fact that i got my own table this time, although i have to sit next to 2 senior managers. *65% of tax department r females 2nd Day, after 2 hrs of boredom, someone from the 'leng lui' section came and finally gave me some work to do. I had to fill in some employees departures form, it was a pretty easy task but i took most of the day doing it. Most 'new' to me was that i had to call the tax office for clarafication on something. And i noobed hard as well, i didnt know i have to press 9 in front to call outsiders, and i thought all phonelines were like jam or something. The funniest thing was that the chick who assigned me to this task had in fact got nothing else to do. A few times i went up to her desk to ask some questions, i either caught her playing her little gameboy-like games or see her talking to 5 ppl on msn at the same time. I guess you dont have to work hard to stay in Deloitte. *i got my own personal office phoneline. |

| Mick lost the bet and the wager was carried out today, mick had to wear a salacious and scanty dress for 4 hrs at unsw. It was pretty funny, everyone gave him weird looks and we made him walk around the quad in the afternoon when it was most packed. The 1 on 1 showdown with Simon 'Rip' Kim was as expected, extremely boring. The game lasted for about 40mins with each person taking roughly 80 shots and grabbing 70 rebounds. Got caught speaking on phone - $210 fine and 3 points. At first, i didnt know the car next to me was a cop car. All i saw was 2 skin heads, with tatts and T- shirt asking me to wind down my window ... i thoguht they were just thugs trying ot play a prank on me so i gave them a lil attitude. But as soon as he pulled out his badge ... gg ... gave them my licence. Went to unsw post grad expo - Master of Financial Analysis looks the best fit for me. MBA was kinda crap, the lady basically just ignored me and gave me 1 word answers. .. maybe coz she feel i was unqualified anyway (minimum of 2 yrs working experience) .. |
